Marc McRae, DC, MS, CNS, DACBN, FACN

Marc McRaeDr. Marc McRae is a Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences who has been a faculty member since 2002. He teaches biochemistry, cell and molecular physiology and nutritional biochemistry in the College of Professional Studies.

Dr. McRae graduated as class valedictorian with his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2001 from National University of Health Sciences. He earned Diplomates from both the American College of Nutrition and the American Clinical Board of Nutrition in 2003 and was conferred as a fellow of the American College of Nutrition in 2006. Dr. McRae is a current member of the American Society for Nutrition.

Dr. McRae has published 38 research papers and 36 abstracts in peer review journals, and he has presented more than 95 platform and poster presentations all over North America and a couple in Europe. One of his education research papers was awarded the Best Paper Award in Education Research at the 2009 Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC). At last count, Dr. McRae’s publications have been collectively cited more than 1800 times. Two of the top three most cited papers in the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine belong to him.
